NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group.
On this occasion, we are looking for a Technology engineering manager to lead the Oxygen platform, a global insurance core system, where we create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.
Your impact at NN: what you´ll do
As an Engineering Manager, you oversee continuous integration, deployment, and optimization activities, ensuring seamless handling of multiple daily deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain continuity across various L&P projects with a strong delivery focus.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative, proactive, and problem-solving culture.
Collaborate with IT, Cloud, and development teams to streamline release processes, automate deployment pipelines, and enhance software reliability.
Partner with development teams to design new features and solutions, addressing both code and infrastructure levels.
Develop and maintain CI/CD procedures and methodologies aligned with industry best practices.
Research and integrate emerging technologies into the existing technology stack.

Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Min. 5 years of experience in DevOps roles.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
Experience with incident management tools and monitoring solutions (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Splunk, New Relic).
Proficiency in system administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and database management.
Knowledge of programming languages and deployment pipelines, with coding skills in Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
Service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under pressure.
Experience in multi-cultural communication.
Quick learner with an independent and solution-focused mindset.
Proven experience in:
CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, HELM, Argo CD, Terraform).
Operating systems (Windows, Linux) and Kubernetes.
Web server administration (Apache, Node, Tomcat, WebSphere).
Continuous integration tools (e.g., Hudson/Jenkins).
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Build tools (Maven, Ant, Puppet).
Docker environments.
