To ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of Oracle database systems within the NN organization we are hiring Oracle DBA Engineer (Medior or Senior) now.

Here you will find more than 230 professionals working in areas ranging from cybersecurity, in-house development and application management, data science and AI, cloud and network engineering, identity and access management, to data center and application monitoring and global service desk. All this for our main customer, the Dutch insurance company NN Group, and other business units in other countries.
You will be part of an emerging team here in Prague, led by Miroslav (Senior Engineer Infrastructure Team).
What you are going to do
Database Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Oracle database software, manage secure storage structures.
Database Maintenance: Perform updates, patches, and backups, monitor and optimize database performance.
User Management: Manage user access and security, resolve database-related issues.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance, implement tuning and query optimization.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery plans, perform regular backups and test recovery procedures.
Security Management: Implement and maintain database security measures, respond to security incidents.
Collaboration: Work with development teams to improve database performance, ensure seamless system integration.
What we expect from you
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration.
Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
Strong familiarity with Oracle EMCC.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, Splunk, Ansible and Redhat A.A.P. is a plus.
Good communication skills in English language.
