On this occasion, we offer an indefinite FrontEnd Engineer position.
Collaboration with colleagues to build front-ends and applications for BU’s in the 10 countries where Nationale Nederlanden International is active
Besides building products, will also ensure the local teams are involved in the process and will be able to further develop the product and provide support when you leave.
Knowledge transfer is a key element of the projects.
Provide input to the architecture of the front-end solutions, with a focus on reuse in other BU’s (via the Inner-source way of working)
Educate squad members and technical leads through training and individual support.
Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for front ends through the organization
Design, document, construct and deploy effective front-end architectures and applications
You collaborate with your colleagues to build beautiful products for BU’s in the 10 countries where Nationale Nederlanden International is active

You provide input to the architecture of the front end solutions, with a focus on reuse in other BU’s (via the Inner-source way of working)
You develop, iterate and maintain unified component libraries and documentation for both (native) mobile apps as well as (responsive) web in which you incorporate standards with regards to accessibility and code quality
You pro-actively contribute to the strategic approach to the eco system based on your expertise to ensure we are future-proof
You make sure deployment of software increments are tested and automated through CI/CD pipelines
Experience in building high quality software forms the basis for collaboration with UX designers and engineers.
Up to date knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript Engineering on the frontend (React preferred)
Experience in working with Agile scrum teams
Take responsibility for feature development / project
Experience in Git (Azure DevOps preferred, but not required)
Experience in pipelines, package management and unit- and integration testing.
CI/CD through Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.
Written and verbal communications skills in English
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Experience with designing flexible components and delivering documentation, READMEs and Contribution Guidelines
