For an intensive simplification and improvement of the system landscape within Pensions, we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer who can elevate the quality of testing. Within our department, a project is underway to move the BPM (Business Process Management) layer from SAP FS-PM (WFM) to Outsystems. Simultaneously, a process optimization is taking place, partly in the area of customer communication, with this new implementation. During this project, we also need to make adjustments in our existing landscape, for example, for the implementation of the Future Pensions Act. Together with your IT colleagues, you ensure that the new functionality works optimally and meets the desired quality at go-live.

What you are going to do

As a Test Engineer, you will bring structure to the testing of pension administration in SAP FS-PM. You help the team ensure quality in the various SAP components, as well as in the adjacent chain systems, and ensure that the software meets the requirements. Your toolbox of testing skills, analytical and communication skills add value to your team, department, and the pension organization.

Based on the available best practices in testing and with the support of your test colleagues, you will gain knowledge of the technical landscape and our pension matters in the first few months. This will allow you to independently execute prepared test scripts and discuss the results with the more experienced colleagues in your team. After this period, you will grow into an independent role where you:

  • Actively think about the functionalities to be built
  • Define the right test cases, prepare test data, and execute tests independently
  • Master our automation tool and contribute to the execution and control of test automation
  • Grow in test automation to maintain and expand the automation set where necessary

What we offer you

NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and in skills and competencies for the future. This includes employment conditions that meet today's needs and take the future into account. We offer our employees the opportunity to get the best out of themselves. We offer you:

  • Salary between € 3041 and € 5025, depending on your knowledge and experience
  • 13th month and holiday pay, paid monthly with your salary
  • 27 vacation days for a 5-day workweek and one Diversity Day
  • A modern pension scheme executed by BeFrank
  • Plenty of training and development opportunities
  • NS Business Card 2nd class, which allows you to travel unlimited, also privately. Do you prefer to travel with your own transport? Declare your kilometers
  • Home office allowances for internet and a good workplace

Who you are

We are looking for a junior tester who still needs to learn the finer points of the profession. We are therefore not looking for extensive knowledge and experience with the systems and processes we use. You do have:

  • Clear and convincing ambition for the role of tester
  • Good communication skills
  • A great learning ability combined with analytical skills
  • Proactivity and perseverance
  • Good self-knowledge about what you know and can do versus where you still need to grow
  • Flexibility to adapt to your environment. Experience with and knowledge of TMap/ISTQB, Tosca, pensions and pension products, SAP FS-PM / SAP ERP, OutSystems and/or WSO2 / API is of course a plus

Who you will work with

Within our Administration Product Platform department, we work in various (international) DevOps scrum teams. These teams work on our advisor, employer, and/or employee processes. In the PI planning, each team determines what they will work on for the coming quarter, according to the priority set by the stakeholders.

We actively promote our “Learning Culture”. The workweek in our department is divided into the ratio 70/20/10, with learning and self-development at the center. The majority of your workweek is spent working in your team, as planned during the PI, with “Learning on the job” as the starting point. Additionally, you can spend one day a week making our work better and more enjoyable together with your colleagues, “Getting better together”. Half a day a week is reserved for your own development through “Self study”.
