For an intensive simplification and improvement of the system landscape within Pensions, we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer who can elevate the quality of testing. Our department is running a project to move the BPM (Business Process Management) layer from SAP FS-PM (WFM) to Outsystems. Simultaneously, a process optimization is taking place, partly in the area of customer communication, with this new implementation. During this project, we also need to make adjustments in our existing landscape, for example, for the implementation of the Future Pensions Act. Together with your IT colleagues, you ensure that the new functionality works optimally and meets the desired quality at go-live.

What you are going to do

As a Test Engineer, you will bring structure to the testing of pension administration in SAP FS-PM. You help the team ensure the quality in the various SAP components, as well as in the adjacent chain systems, and ensure that the software meets the requirements. Your toolbox of testing skills, analytical and communication skills add value to your team, department, and the pension organization.

The tasks of the Test Engineer include:

  • Co-determining the test strategy and test approach, drafting the test plan
  • Aligning and establishing the acceptance criteria during the ready-making phase and ensuring that these are processed with the right coverage in your test script
  • Performing the test activities and coordinating the test activities of other testers within the team
  • Aligning and coordinating chain tests (including the User Acceptance Test) and obtaining approvals from stakeholders
  • Automating tests using Postman (API) and Tosca (chain)
  • Determining and implementing the necessary maintenance on test automation based on implemented changes
  • Proactively contributing to the test community through the internal test guild and special interest groups to broaden knowledge, disseminate it, and initiate improvements

Who you are

We are looking for a communicatively skilled employee who is a real team player within the team but can also coordinate well with all stakeholders in the environment, both IT and business. You have:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of testing, at a theoretical and practical level
  • Experience working in a large and complex environment (technical and organizational). You are organizationally sensitive, allowing you to handle different parties and interests well
  • Intrinsic motivation to improve and innovate
  • Experience with automated testing using Postman and/or Tosca
  • Experience with and knowledge of Pensions and pension products; and/orSAP FS-PM / SAP ERP; and/orOutSystems; and/or WSO2 / API
  • Experience working and testing in a scrum team. Knowledge and/or experience with the Safe Framework is a plus

Who you will work with

Within our Administration Product Platform department, we work in various (international) DevOps scrum teams. These teams work on our advisor, employer, and/or employee processes. In the PI planning, each team determines what they will work on for the coming quarter, according to the priority set by the stakeholders.
