The cyber-security landscape is evolving faster than ever, and protecting our customers’ and company’s data is at the heart of NN’s mission. To keep NN Group Finance fully in control, we are now looking for two new colleagues—one Medior and one Senior Security Officer—to strengthen our Group Finance security team.

Your impact at NN
You will be part of a mission dedicated to safeguarding NN’s information assets. While working from our modern Digital Hub in Prague, you fuctionaly will be part of the Group Finance Architecture & Security BSO team in The Hague.You will help develop and maintain a robust security posture, ensure compliance with our internal standards, external legislation and our Information Technology Control Framework (ITCF. You guide, advice and support Group Finance DevOps teams in the Netherlands, Czech and Hungary in embedding security best practices across the entire software-development life cycle.

The tasks you will perform

  • ​Provide expert support and guidance to DevOps teams on security-related topics, from design to deployment.

  • Monitor, support and guidance to DevOps teams in onboarding on centralized standard security processess.

  • ​Plan, support tracking, and report on ITCF controls, ensuring they are in place and operating effectively.

  • ​Assess, evaluate and review security documentation, security control evidence, asurance reports, risk acceptances, audit finding closure forms and provide a 1st line opinion.

  • Conduct control reviews and risk assessments, from routine checks (Medior) to complex value-chain reviews (Senior).

  • ​Deliver security training and awareness sessions tailored to various technical audiences.

  • ​Oversee security projects and continuous-improvement initiatives within Group Finance; the Senior role manages larger, more complex programmes. Aligenment, participation from Group Finance perspective in centralized Future Ready security initiatives and programs.

  • ​Perform supplier security due-diligence assessments, review materiality assessments and contribute to ongoing vendor management.

  • Perform Threat Modelling and walk through vulnerabilities with teams and advise on solutions.​Create clear overviews of findings, incidents, and vulnerabilities, and present them to stakeholders.

  • ​Collaborate closely with BSO Security team, second-line, audit, and other international teams to ensure alignment and compliance.

  • Plan, organize and fascilitate applicable walkthroughs with external auditor. Comunicate and monitor follow up on findings.

  • Suport and advice Group Finance Business Security Officer. From Senior ISO it is also expected to back up the BSO in applicable meetings if necessary.

The knowledge and experience you bring

  • ​2–5 years (Medior) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in information security, ideally in a financial or highly regulated environment.

  • ​University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in a relevant field; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are an advantage.

  • ​Hands-on experience with risk assessments, control frameworks, application security and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

  • Knowledge of international security standards and cyber security frameworks.

  • ​Solid understanding of network security, vulnerabilty management, SIEM, DLP, or other related security technologies; familiarity with ServiceNow and azure devops boardis a plus.

  • ​Ability to articulate complex security matters to both technical and non-technical audiences in English (B2 level or higher).

  • ​Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to set priorities and plan ahead.

  • ​For the Senior role: proven track record of managing complex security projects and coaching junior colleagues.

How we hire

After reviewing your application, including your CV in English, you will receive a short phone call from Erika (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to discuss basic details about your previous work experience and the open position. If everything goes well, we will meet twice in total. The first round will preferably be a face-to-face meeting at our office in Prague with Thijs (Hiring Manager) and Erika. In the second round, you will meet few of our colleagues from the Netherlands.
