Who we are and what we do
Our main job is to monitor and analyze cyber security alerts, and to act fast to any suspected security issues. The team provides services 24/7, juniors and mediors work in 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, and the shift schedule is friendly - so no worries there! We are currently seeking to expand our team, which is why we’re searching for a new Security Analyst to join us!
What you will work on
Daily cyber security operations without direct supervision. Responsibility for day to day evaluation of NN's security posture, analysis of security events, development and documentation of security intelligence, and rudimentary incident triage.
To elaborate in more detail, you will:
Be part of our frontline cyber security team, helping spot and respond to security events in NN’s environment
Look into security incidents, figure out what’s going on, and start the incident response
Keep our internal guides and processes up to date
Pitch in with admin and support tasks when needed
Build good relationships with our colleagues across NN and help them out with their requests
Help maintain our current security detection tools, with support from more experienced team members
Get involved in different projects and team activities as they come up
Who we are looking for:
You know your way around ISO/OSI, TCP/IP networking, and have some experience with Active Directory
You’ve handled incident triage, documentation, and response before (bonus if you know about Cyber Kill Chain or the MITRE framework)
You’re good at working with people and can communicate clearly
You’re responsible, reliable, and think things through
You can come up with a hypothesis while investigating and test it out when responding to cyber security alerts
You’ve worked with cyber security tools like SIEM, EDR, NDR, UBA, IPS/IDS (for example, Splunk, Sentinel, or MS cyber security tools)
Basic knowledge of python, bash, or PowerShell is a bonus
Completed tech degree

How does our hiring process work?
There are usually two rounds. First, you’ll have a chat with Veronika (Talent Acquisition Specialist and the team lead - we’ll tell you about the team and ask about your experience and what you’re looking for. Next up is a technical talk with some of the team members, just to see what you know in practice.
If things go well and we’re a good fit for each other, you’ll have a quick call with the CDC manager to get to know each other a bit more.
