At Digital Hub Prague we are currently seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead / Product Owner to drive the development and management of our sophisticated data platform.
What is the purpose of the position
As a crucial member of the NNDAP (NN Data Analytical Platform) international team, you will provide leadership, vision, and direction to ensure the platform's performance, security, and scalability. This dual role requires a candidate who can seamlessly integrate strong technical leadership with the strategic oversight typical of a Product Owner.
What are the tasks you will perform
Your primary focus (approximately 80%) will be to lead, coach, and mentor the Platform Team, promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
In addition you will act as Product Owner (approximately 20%), defining and maintaining the product vision and managing the product roadmap and backlog.
You will provide advanced technical support for SaaS applications related to the data platform.
You will engage with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Your task will be to ensure clear communication of the product strategy and objectives to both the team and stakeholders.
You will drive the Agile development process, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
You will collaborate with architects, Data Scientists, and engineers to identify and integrate the best tools and technologies.
You will manage resource allocation and project timelines to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in data platform technologies.
Who you are
You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally as a Technical Team Lead or Product Owner, with a focus on data platforms and SaaS application support.
Strong foundation in data engineering and familiarity with big data technologies is part of your DNA.
You are able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful products in an Agile environment.
You are excellent in problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
You have advanced practical experience with Databricks, Python, and SQL.
Advanced English proficiency is required for working in an international environment.

What is hiring process with us like

If that initial conversation goes well, you’ll be invited to two interview rounds. The first round is a technical interview held online with Chris and David. If successful, the second round will ideally take place in person at our Prague office, where you’ll meet Magdalena (HR Business Partner) and Behrang (Head of DAta & AI Science).
