What does your job as a Domain Architect – Core Insurance & Finance look like?

As a Domain Architect at NN Belgium, you will translate business strategy into robust, future-proof IT solutions. You guide agile teams, ensure architectural excellence, and modernize our systems for security, scalability, and efficiency. You collaborate closely with IT leads, architects, and stakeholders to shape the IT landscape for our Core Insurance & Finance domains.

This is how you fit perfectly into our team

You bring over 10 years of experience in application architecture, software design, or technical leadership—ideally in financial services. Your expertise covers:

Integration patterns (APIs, event-driven, SOA, microservices)
Cloud platforms (Azure), application and API design
Architecture frameworks and modeling tools (e.g., Archimate, Orbus)
Modern development tools (Java, C#, TypeScript, React, build tools, version control)
Security protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML) and secure coding practices
Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
You have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with a strategic mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
