What does your job as Configuration Management Lead look like?
NN Insurance Belgium maintains a complete and accurate overview of applications,software, hardware, servers, and other IT assets in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
As Configuration Management Lead at NN, you are responsible for modeling, maintaining, and optimizing our CMDB and the associated processes. You ensure that all IT assets and configuration items are correctly registered, verified, and kept up to date, in
accordance with the ITIL Standard.
Keep our CMDB up to date and ensure correct, consistent, and complete data
Manage configuration items throughout their entire lifecycle: identification, control, status registration, and auditing
Define and optimize processes for correct and compliant data integration
Detect deviations and take action to resolve them
Design and maintain a scalable and logical CMDB model
Provide insights and recommendations about the CMDB model and coordinate with the global process owner
Document and optimize processes for configuration management
Develop reports and dashboards for compliance and data quality
Identify and manage risks within configuration management
Participate in improvement projects for configuration & asset management
Support the development and implementation of tools and systems
Conduct audits and checks to guarantee data quality
Work closely with various teams to ensure integrity and consistency
Train and support colleagues so that everyone uses our processes and tools optimally
This is how you fit perfectly into our team
At least 5 years of experience in IT, of which 3 years in Configuration Management
Thorough knowledge of ITIL processes with a focus on configuration management & asset management
Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
Team player
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with ServiceNow and Configuration Services Data Model
Independent, proactive, and a true passion for improvements
Problem-solving mindset
Fluent in Dutch or French, with an excellent command of English
