Do you want to make a real difference in the digital experience of thousands of customers and use your UX talent for an organization that strongly embraces customer focus and innovation? At ABN AMRO Verzekeringen, you will work on a brand-new “Mijn Omgeving” platform, offering both business and private policyholders a seamless, modern user experience. Here, you’ll have the chance to make an impact and truly be the face behind the digital transformation of our services.
Your mission? To create a flawless and inspiring user experience that empowers our customers. Together with energetic colleagues, you’ll dive into complex customer needs, turn them into clear solutions, and surprise the business with smart, well-founded UX improvements. We give you the space to pioneer, showcase your vision, and help build a digital platform you can be proud of as a UX Designer. Will you join our team and make a difference for our customers?
What you are going to do
As part of the project team, you will translate customer needs into a new “Mijn Omgeving” by ensuring the full UX design process is applied—from discovery to validation. Your responsibilities include:
Conducting UX research and using insights to turn problems into validated solutions, acting as a sparring partner for colleagues across business units
Helping to facilitate workshops and creative sessions (such as Design Sprints)
Designing and iterating wireframes and interactive prototypes, using (or contributing to) the NN Design System
Contributing to the NN Design Guild alongside your project responsibilities
What we offer you
NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and in skills and competencies for the future. Our employment conditions reflect what is needed today while keeping an eye on tomorrow. We enable our employees to bring out the best in themselves. We offer you:
A gross monthly salary between €4,092 and €5,846 based on a 36-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience
13th month and holiday allowance, paid monthly with your salary
27 vacation days for a 5-day workweek and one Diversity Day
A modern pension scheme managed by BeFrank
Plenty of training and development opportunities
NS Business Card (2nd class) for unlimited travel, including private use; mileage reimbursement if you prefer to drive
Home office allowances for internet and a proper workspace
Who you are
You are someone who seeks collaboration to contribute to shared goals. You see opportunities to implement improvements and can convince stakeholders with arguments and energy. You bring:
A completed relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
5+ years of experience as a UX Designer in an Agile environment
Experience applying skills in user research, information architecture, and (mobile) interaction design
Experience with ideation techniques, facilitating creative sessions, and collaborating to create well-supported designs
Experience with modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma (Enterprise)
Dutch language proficiency is essential for successfully carrying out this role
Who you will work with
As a UX Designer, you will work closely with colleagues in the project team, including developers from the IT Hub in Madrid and professionals from both business and private insurance units.
Outside the project, you’ll be part of the NN Design Guild, where more than 70 designers from across the company share knowledge, host inspiration sessions, and co-create. You’ll always have creative minds to spar with—and of course, there are regular social gatherings too!
