Your impact at NN: what you’ll do
As an Engineer Director, you define and execute the technology strategy that supports our life, property and pension insurance domains. You lead architecture direction, guide modernization initiatives and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of resilience, compliance and engineering excellence. Your work shapes long-term stability, innovation and customer impact.
Key responsibilities:
Define and evolve the technology strategy and architectural vision across insurance domains.
Lead solution governance, mentor architects and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Oversee regulatory and supervisory compliance including DORA, GDPR, PSD2 and KNF guidelines.
Drive modernization initiatives in DevSecOps, cloud, microservices and container platforms.
Develop engineering and architecture communities, strengthening capabilities across teams.
Who you’ll work with
You will join NN’s Technology & Engineering community, partnering with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, Chapter Leads and cross-functional Agile delivery teams. The environment is collaborative, supportive and focused on continuous improvement. You work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, PMO, security and compliance teams, ensuring shared clarity, strong delivery and a culture of engineering excellence.

You demonstrate deep knowledge of modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, DevSecOps and enterprise-scale architecture.
You have a sharp, analytical mindset and make decisions based on clarity, structure and long-term thinking.
You navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong, trust-based relationships.
You lead through empowerment, create clarity during change and inspire teams to raise engineering maturity.
