Your mission
Join us as Head of Risk Management (Pensions) and help shape the future of NN.
In this role, with high strategic impact and visibility at senior leadership level, you’ll actively contribute to the success of both the team and the company by engaging with overseeing and strengthening the risk framework for our private pension fund business. In this key role, you will act as the second line of defense, ensuring that all investment decisions, operations, and processes comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and the company’s risk appetite.
What will you do?
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report risks related to market, credit, liquidity, operational and actuarial areas.
- Participate in Investment and Financial Risk Committees as a trusted advisor.
- Perform independent risk oversight of investment proposals and decisions.
- Monitor portfolio exposures, investment limits, competitors’ performance, and fund profitability drivers.
- Develop and maintain risk policies, methodologies, models, and stress‑testing frameworks.
- Coordinate the preparation of semi‑annual risk reports for the regulator (FSA) and other internal/external risk reports.
- Ensure alignment with corporate governance standards and support the definition of risk appetite.
- Contribute to business continuity planning and risk reporting processes across the organization.
