We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in Czechia! Do you want to help scale AI solutions across NN and deliver real business impact? Then this could be the role for you.

Our mission at NN

Together with your colleagues, you will build and scale AI-powered solutions that improve business processes across multiple NN business units in Europe. This includes supporting underwriters with automated document checks, enabling end-to-end claims automation, and developing chatbot solutions.

You will work in agile teams to design, build, test, and run AI-driven applications, while contributing to solution design and making smart engineering trade-offs. A strong focus will be on scaling solutions across countries to maximize impact.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, build, and bring AI solutions into production, from traditional ML models to modern GenAI/LLM applications.

  • Develop, refactor, and operationalize machine learning models using Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

  • Build and deploy LLM-powered applications (e.g. RAG pipelines, AI agents, Copilot-like solutions) using modern tooling (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).

  • Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions, from data preparation and model development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

  • Optimize models and systems for performance, scalability, cost efficiency, and user experience.

What we expect from you

  • At least 5 years of experience in ML/AI engineering, including hands-on work with LLMs, GenAI, and traditional ML.

  • Proficiency in Python and ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), with experience in agentic AI, RAG, and MLOps/LLMOps practices (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, Databricks Mosaic AI).

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, FastAPI, and integration patterns.

  • Advanced English proficiency is required to work in an international environment.
